Covid-19 is not ebbing, a large number of coronavirus cases are reported every day around the world. Every country, around the globe, has sketched strict covid-19 rules.

However, in Sri Lankan people are not following the rules just like the Indians did which had doomed the whole country in the second wave. Police media spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said that 1,047 people were arrested on Monday in Sri Lanka for violating the latest coronavirus rules.

He said 160 people were arrested in Matale, 119 in Nuwara Eliya, and 98 in Kandy. Since October 31 last year, 19,102 people have been arrested for violating quarantine regulations. Coronavirus said it had deployed 23,000 police officers to monitor the building. So far, 1,83,452 Covid-19 cases have been reported in Sri Lanka, with 1,441 have succumbed to the virus, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

COVID surge Surge 19 cases emerged in Sri Lanka soon after the April holiday season. In traditional celebrations of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, which often come in the middle of that month, people flocked to the markets to buy goods for the festival.

When photos surged on social media in Pamunuwa, Colombo region known for traders, Public Hygiene Inspectors, and a sector of Sri Lankan health professionals, the government warned the public that they would suffer the brunt of the virus if they will be careless. The administration has often been called on to impose an insular lockdown. but it all fell to deaf ears and the government did not make any move.

While the Muslim community in Sri Lanka feels targeted because the government imposed a curfew for them when they had prepared to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. But the government still has kept quiet. Whilst the polices are carrying people to arrest as they don’t follow the covid-29 rules.

On another side, scientists around the world are trying to find out the origins of the coronavirus that is plaguing the world, some celebrities on the other hand believe that the truth will never be known.

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has recently joined the list. On May 30, an article in the Daily Mail revealed that China was responsible for the pandemic, a recent study confirming that the virus was created in a lab by the country’s scientists.

The report states that Chinese scientists created the covid-19 virus in the Wuhan laboratory and then “tried to show the world that the virus originated naturally from bats to cover up their act through reverse-engineering technology”.

This article caused a great deal of controversy around the world. Responding to the latest article, Anand Mahindra wrote on May 31, “We will never know the truth, but the fact is that in the current situation, there is a need for a non-proliferation agreement on biological weapons, such as the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. There is more damage left,” Mahindra tweeted.

The corona epidemic has claimed more than 35.65 lakh lives so far. India has the second-highest number of deaths the United States leads the chat with over 3 lakh deaths. The number of cases, which has risen sharply since April, has been steadily declining.

A few days ago, US President Joe Biden warned the country’s intelligence team to find the corona roots within 90 days. And they have been collecting and producing a lot of data ever since then to expose China’s vile act.

 The corona epidemic has caused the economies of many countries to collapse.
