Kolkata HC orders police not to arrest NIA officers

In the case of Bengal Police vs NIA, Kolkata HC strongly reprimanded the West Bengal police and directed them not to arrest NIA officers. The court has said that Bengal Police will not arrest NIA officers till the next hearing.
The court also said that if Bengal Police wants to interrogate NIA officers, then they will have to do so through video conferencing. For this, the police will have to give notice about 72 hours in advance. The next hearing in this case is scheduled to be on April 29.
